Purpose and scope: This Health and Safety policy sets out the commitment of Garden Clearance Croydon to provide a safe working environment for staff, contractors and the public when delivering garden clearance and rubbish removal services across our service area. The policy applies to all routine garden clearance tasks, rubbish collection, green waste handling and associated transportation duties. It defines responsibilities, procedures and safe systems of work to control risk and protect health.

Garden Clearance Croydon is committed to ensuring that all operations are conducted with due care for employee welfare and public safety. We will: identify hazards; assess risks; implement control measures; provide training and supervision; and maintain plant and vehicles to safe standards. Our aim is to reduce incidents during garden clearance activities, domestic rubbish removal and other clearance tasks within our rubbish company service area.
Legal and regulatory approach
